Because every gemstone is unique and has a story, it should be chosen based on the emotions it evokes in order to spark a true love affair.

The value of a stone is determined by its rarity, beauty, and durability. To identify and evaluate a stone, a gemologist begins by observing its appearance with the naked eye. The process then continues with the use of a loupe to identify inclusions and defects. Specific tools such as a polariscope, a dichroscope, a refractometer, a hydrostatic balance, and sometimes a UV lamp and a spectroscope are used in the process.

Thanks to her skills and experience, Kelly Stern accompanies and advises you in this quest with the utmost care. The first step is to target your criteria such as carat weight, color, clarity, cut, origin, etc. Afterwards, we search worldwide for the most prestigious stones and present you with a selection.

All selected gemstones come from legitimate sources in compliance with United Nations resolutions. They are not financed by armed conflict and comply with the Kimberley Process and relevant regulations. Depending on the value of the gemstone, a laboratory authenticity certificate is provided free of charge. If the value is lower, it is still possible to obtain this certificate, but additional fees may apply. As all stones can deteriorate, it is important to store them carefully.

The rarer the desired stone, the longer the search may take. The timeframe is variable depending on demand. For an appointment or for further information, please contact us.
